Indigo Art Education grew from years of studio-based teaching and curriculum design across Pre-K–12, higher education, and community programs. Our mission has always been to make art accessible, meaningful, and inspiring for educators and their students. Today, we combine hands-on kits, digital resources, and professional learning opportunities to support teachers across Texas and beyond.

Co-Founder, Co-CEO
Kirstin Griffin is an art educator and instructional designer with experience across K–12 and online learning environments. Her work focuses on creating meaningful, accessible learning experiences that connect artistic practice, curriculum design, and contemporary approaches to art education. She is passionate about developing creative spaces where educators and students can explore materials, ideas, and processes through curiosity, reflection, and hands-on making.

Kallie Cheves is an artist, art educator, and curriculum designer with over 11 years of experience teaching across Pre-K through higher education. Her studio practice explores materiality, memory, storytelling, and personal connection through printmaking, photography, and mixed media processes. She is passionate about creating inclusive, studio-centered learning experiences that encourage artists and educators to reconnect with their creative identities.
